It's the Event I Most Look Forward to All Year

I'm biased. But I think it's the best event of the year...

We invite the most interesting people we know... AND we invite the most interesting people that we don't know yet, but would like to hear from.

In short, we put together the dream event – the event that we would want to attend ourselves. And then we invite a limited number of our readers (I believe the limit is 500) to join us.

This event sells out – months in advance – every year.

I'm talking about our annual Stansberry Conference in Las Vegas. And this year might just have the best lineup we've ever put together...

All the "big names" from Stansberry Research will be there. Dr. David Eifrig will join us... And so will my good friend, founder Porter Stansberry.

We have major celebrities coming to speak – like Rich Dad Poor Dad author Robert Kiyosaki, and comedian Penn Jillette. (Penn is fantastic in person... I met him a few years ago in Vegas).

We have political media personalities coming – like Buck Sexton, who hosts our Stansberry Investor Hour podcast, and Steve Forbes. (That's right... the founder of Forbes magazine.)

We also have brilliant investors joining us – like Jim Grant of Grant's Interest Rate Observer, and Dennis Gartman of The Gartman Letter.

Many names you might not know yet will be there... But trust me, you will be glad to get to know them...

For example, I personally invited the CEO of one of my top recommendations: Naspers (NPSNY). He is coming in from South Africa to share his company's incredible story. I don't believe he's ever appeared in the U.S. at an event like this.

The list goes on. But it's not about quantity. It's about quality. Every speaker is at the top of what they do. These are the folks that we want to hear from.

I'm actually looking forward to hearing from a few presenters that you might not know...

Dr. Wes Gray, for example, crunches the numbers better than I do. He's the CEO of asset-management firm Alpha Architect, and always has interesting investing ideas. And writer Dave Barry is always a hoot. Plus, we always have some unexpected fun up our sleeves for you.

I can't wait!

As a speaker, I've already got my ticket... But if you want one, you need to decide pretty darn soon...

This event is a great time, and it always sells out well in advance. (Note: This year is no exception... I was just notified we have a limited number of tickets remaining! So this may be your last chance to get in on the 2018 event.)

Speakers are always subject to change. But we have an amazing conference planned for you this year. Take a look for yourself...

Good investing,

Steve

P.S. If you still haven't gotten your ticket, you need to act fast... We have fewer than 30 tickets available right now. Don't miss this event! You can secure your spot right here.

HOW WE USE SUMMER SPENDING TO GAUGE THE U.S. ECONOMY

Today, we revisit one of our favorite indicators of economic vigor...

DailyWealth readers know we like to check in on the economy in different ways. Last week, we noted a boom in commerce by looking at shipping company J.B. Hunt Transport Services (JBHT). But we can also see consumer confidence. For that, we look at where people are spending extra cash...

The continued uptrend in Pool Corp (POOL) tells us Americans are happily spending on recreation. This company is the world's leading distributor of pool equipment and supplies. In the U.S. alone, the market for residential pool products has grown to $8 billion. And Pool Corp rules the roost... The company saw record-breaking performance last year – up 8% in annual sales, 10% in operating margin, and 30% in earnings per share...

As you can see below, Pool Corp's growth is reflected in its share price. Over the past three years, the stock has climbed nearly 120%, recently hitting a new multiyear high. If Americans have money to spend on swimming pools, then things can't be too bad for the economy...
